The Tōukon Academy® was founded in 2000 by David Webb, a life long martial artist with black belts in Karate, Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (3rd degree under Mauricio Gomes); who has built a reputation for delivering a uniquely engaging brand of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which helps individuals achieve their goals in all areas of personal development on and off the mats.

The Tōukon Academy® Huntingdon was founded in 2025 by Gary Bott, a student under David Webb who began his jiu jitsu journey in 2017 as an alternative to running and immediately following his first (and last) marathon. Having discovered a love of martial arts at age 9 watching Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon, Gary studied karate then muay thai before focusing solely on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

The home of BJJ in Huntingdon is a brand new, state of the art industrial unit that covers 150 square metres including 90 square metres of professional XPE foam training mats; as well as a changing area and WC. The 5m high ceiling creates a feeling of openness and glass frontage projects natural daylight into the space. There is dedicated communal parking for upto 30 vehicles and the academy is conveniently located from the A1 at Brampton Hut close to Huntingdon town centre in Latham Road Business Park. From the A141 take the Latham Road turn-off at the roundabout and turn left at the t-junction; at the end of the road drive through the automatic barriers where you will find us behind Meridian Audio at Unit 14.
